Paul and Sue LeBoutillier (pronounced lah-boo-tee-A) moved to the Ontario area in December of 1990 to start the church (which was known at first as Cornerstone Community Church). After a few years the name was changed to Calvary Chapel Ontario to reflect the fellowship's connection with the Calvary Chapel network of churches.
Paul and Sue have 4 children, two of whom (Nellie and Aaron) are married. The youngest two (Alyssa and Timothy) are still at home. Alyssa is getting married this summer and Timothy is 15 and finishing high school in the next couple years.
Over the years, a thick crust of man-made traditions and interpretations—called religion—have been heaped on top of God's self-revelation so that it darkens the light of mankind's understanding. Pastor Paul's passion to break through that crust and bring people back to the simplicity and power of God's Word found in the Bible.
