Ministry at Calvary Chapel Ontario follows the servanthood model of Jesus Christ as presented in the Gospels. One of the best ways to grow in discipleship is by serving one another in the Body of Christ. Such service often spills over into the community, and becomes a blessing to everyone it touches.

The ministries listed here are just a few of the ways that people can strengthen their walk with Christ through the study of God’s Word, and by using their talents and gifts for His Glory. Additional information can be obtained by exploring these links, or calling the Church Office (541) 889-2260 for more information.

Small Group Ministry - At any church where growth can create distance between people, small groups continue to allow believers to come together in an intimate atmosphere where they can get to know one another and minister to one another's needs. At Calvary Chapel Ontario our small group ministry includes weekly home fellowship (Koinonia) groups, weekly Bible studies, Pure Word (a support group for those with life-controlling behaviors), and many others. Contact the church office for more information on all our small groups.

Men's Ministry - The Men's Ministry at Calvary Chapel offers a weekly Men's Discipleship Group, a weekly Men's Lunch and a seasonal Motorcycle Fellowship as well as other opportunities for men to connect and serve.

Women's Ministry - Our Women's Ministry, under the direction of Sue LeBoutillier, is active and vibrant at Calvary Chapel. The women gather once a month for "Women of the Word", a Tuesday evening worship and teaching time currently studying the book of Joshua. In addition, several small group Bible studies are also offered at various times throughout the week. The ladies enjoy a fall retreat in October in McCall, ID; as well as an annual Christmas Dessert which are both great outreach opportunities. Another active ministry arm for the ladies is our meals ministry which supports families within the fellowship who can use the blessing of some meals delivered due to illness or new babies.

Children's Ministry - Kids are a top priority around Calvary Chapel, and our children's ministry is set up to take ministry to kids seriously. Our Sunday morning ministry meets during our two services at 9 and 11am, and kids are taught the principles and promises of God's WordAWANA in such a way as to prepare them for walking with Jesus in the real world. Wednesday evening we offer AWANA which emphasizes Scripture memorization and exciting group activities.

Junior and Senior High Ministry - Our young people meet every Sunday evening at 6pm. Each week the students hear the uncompromising Word of God, and spend time talking about how that Word applies to their daily lives. At Calvary Chapel, it is never our aim to see our Youth Ministry become some kind of substitute for the parent or the home. We hold the role of parents and the place of family in very high esteem, and therefore continually encourage our young people to respect and honor their parents and give plenty of time for family.
